  • Your Time: 7 Minutes

  • Team Preview: 90 Seconds

RULES

  • Treat EVERYONE with respect. This is a welcoming environment, and there will be zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind.

    • Players may call a Judge at any time to assess a case of harassment.

    • Players found to be harassing their fellow competitors or anyone else at the event may receive a verbal warning. If this behavior continues, or if the initial harassment is severe enough, their punishment will escalate to a disqualification from the tournament. If they are a repeat offender, they will be asked to leave the event and will be banned from future events.

    • What does or does not constitute harassment is up to a Judge's discretion. This includes, but is not limited to:

      • Verbal harassment, such as shouting, insulting, or belittling.

      • Physical harassment, such as hitting or pushing.

      • Disrespectful gameplay, such as intentionally stalling out a game where they are guaranteed to win.

      • Outbursts, such as shouting, jumping, or throwing objects.

  • We will be playing with Open Team Sheets. A player's Team Sheet must be submitted before Round 1 begins, and the team they play with must match their submitted Team Sheet. Deviating from this Team Sheet at any point in the tournament is not allowed.

    • Players found to have deviated from their Team Sheet will be given an immediate game loss in their current set. This loss may not lose them the set (EG. if the score of a set is 0 - 1 and Player 2 is found to have changed their team, the score will become 1 - 1. If the score of a set is 1-1 and Player 2 is found to have changed their team, the score will remain 1-1). If this is the second time the player has deviated from their Team Sheet, they will instead be given an immediate set loss for the round.

    • If the Team Sheet a player has submitted is incorrect, they will be given a chance to amend it for later matches in the tournament. Previous game or set losses however will still stand.

    • A Team Sheet will include:

      • Your chosen 6 Pokémon.

      • Your Pokémon's abilities.

      • Your Pokémon's items.

      • Your Pokémon's natures.

      • Your Pokémon's moves.

  • The tournament will be structured in two portions: the Swiss Rounds portion and the Final Cut portion. During the Swiss Rounds portion, players will be assigned a station and an opponent in a round-robin style format, based on their current performance. Players will not be eliminated from the tournament until the Swiss Rounds are over. Once the Swiss Rounds are over, the tournament moves on to Final Cut. This is a single-elimination bracket in which the best performers from the Swiss Rounds play each other until one winner remains. Details on these rounds can be found in the section below:
